PNRI x BEI Webinar Series: Establishing Subcritical Assemblies
The Brilliant Energy Institute is proud to bring together a three-part webinar series bringing together experts from Canada and the Philippines to share perspectives on subcritical assemblies, research reactors, and regulatory experience. With participation from the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (PNRI), Ontario Tech University Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, guest speaker from the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC).
Across three live, moderated sessions, speakers will explore PNRI’s experience establishing a subcritical assembly, Ontario Tech’s academic and research motivations for developing a similar facility, and regulatory and licensing considerations for subcritical assemblies and small reactor facilities.
